Iv'e been trying to make a video but I can't figure it out. I did a go fun me about three months ago to keep me out of this situation. I got 5 or 6 messages from people asking if it was me or was I Hacked. I told them it was me and they donated but I can't help to think that other people thought I was hacked. So I hoped to avoid starting a Go fund me so I have waited to the last second because I'm to proud to ask for help. I have always been self sufficient. I feel embarrassed, humiliated, a loss of dignity but desperate times call for desperate measures. When I first did the Go fund me three months ago all I was thinking If 100 of my friends donated $20 I could possibly avoid what's happening. I live in a house with a woman who wants her rent on the first by 9am. No questions. I did that for over two years but lately I have been struggling to pay her on the first. So she is evicting me. It is no way a legal eviction but I have to be out on the 25th. About five months ago I had a falling out with a person who I would have given my life for. I gave him life! Yes my own son. He is 25 now. He inherited 1.4 million dollars and told me he would give me $200,00 and he would get 1.2. I got all his money invested and I kept my $200,000 with his investments so that he could earn the interest. I wasn't going to touch my money until I retired. Now four year later he says that is his money and he won't give me my share. Now he is saying that is his money. Then as most of you know the city of Lahaina burned down. The place I have called home for the last 21 years. Buffalo will always be my home but you know what I mean. When Lahaina burned I lost my business and because the house I was staying at wasn't in the fire zone I didn't get any aide from Fema or Red Cross. People who were in the burn zone got $25,000 plus $1200 a month. They have had free housing for over two years now. I know a lot of people who got help and I lost 10 times as much as they did. I know my sister did a Go fund me for me after the fire and a lot of people donated and I am so very appreciative of that. Thank you to all that donated. Unfortunately the struggle is not over! Tourism is down 20%!!It's going to take 20 years to rebuild and Lahaina will never be the same. So I am sure some of you are saying why don't you just leave. The only reason I am still here is because of my 8 year old son Myles. I am divorced now but me and his mom have worked out a schedule were we split the week. Myles and I are so close and it would break his heart if I left! Not to mention what it would to my heart! I am tearing up as I write this because our future is hanging in the balance!! Hold on. I need a moment. Ok I have gathered myself. I have never been Homeless before. My min van is broken down and I don't have the money to fix it. If I at least had the money to fix it I could live in it until I figure this out. Unfortunately it all comes down to money. Picture this. We are sitting in a bar, we are talking and laughing about old times or current events and our beers get low. You look at the bartender and say bartender give me and my friend another beer and a shot. That is all I am asking. BUY ME A ROUND. $20 or whatever you can afford. Every little bit helps! I feel ashamed but close friends have told me I shouldn't so I am doing this Go fund me. I don't know what my future holds but I know I am too old to be homeless! Is am reaching out for help. There is a lot of negativity in this message and I have always been a positive person so I am going to leave you with this trick Im learned. Pick a number, any number. Now double that number. Now add 6 to that number. Now divide that number by 2. Now subtract your original number from the number you have now. Is it 3? YES!! LOL!!
