Help me and my son with stable housing.

Donation protected
For the third time in about as many years my son and I are facing housing insecurity and the threat of homelessness. I have only been in the home I am currently renting for a year now. My landlord would only give me a month to month lease renewal. He's also increased rent while decreasing the amount of space I'm renting. We are just placeholders until he's ready to give notice that we have to leave so he can tear down this house and build two new houses that will have little to no yard space and be out of my price range to buy. That is supposed to happen within the next year, but he can do it at any time with a month to month lease. In the next month he'll be building a fence to take away most of the yard I have been using, including my garden that I spent money and time on to grow food for us. It's all a loss and he has offered no compensation for it. I also have a small flock of chickens and my dogs will no longer have much of a yard to play in. The only long term solution is to buy, but I've been hit with so many things over the last four years I don't have any savings to put into my own house, let alone a deposit to rent another place. I looked at a house that's definitley a fixer upper, but I've got the skills to do most of the work outside of plumbing and electric. It's on a beautiful lot that would give me space for my garden, my chicken coop, and the dogs to play. I just don't know how to make it a reality. At the same time, I'm trying to be there for my aging parents. My Mom has Alzheimer's and my Dad has Parkinson's. They are in Ohio while I'm in Texas. I know it would seem the simple solution would be to move back to Ohio, but it's not simple. Due to the Texas court order, as custodial parent I cannot leave the area with my son until he's 18. We have four more years. Instead of working on my business and my art, and being 100% when I teach, I'm honestly struggling with my mental health because of this. It's exhausting. I already deal with untreated CPTSD and ADHD. I have so much to give to this world if given a chance. I just want peace. I want to give my son a safe place to call home. I've been fighting the uphill battle to get us out of poverty for over 11 years. I'm tired. We are not a commodity. We are human and we deserve a safe, consistent place to live. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
