Help me and my sister evacuate from war in Gaza

Hi, I’m Shaimaa and this is my sister Swsan. We are 25 and 24 years old. We lived this years within our family, our beloved one and within our beautiful city Gaza. As long as I remember we lived our entire life in war. Dreaming on having a better life one day.

I am a new graduated student, I graduated on August 2023 just two months before October 7th, the day when our life turned upside down and everything changed.

I studied Computer System Engineering at Palestine Technical College for 5 years, through this years and before the graduation I worked on myself and start making income by working as a freelancer until the graduation. Then after 5 years of hard work I graduated from college, the 1st of my class with GPA 92%. I really was so happy, so does my parents.

After that I start think to complete my study and take the Master degree on Computer Engineering by applying for scholarship to study abroad. But I decided to delay my master degree because I wanted to have a real job first and making a real income, and the most important thing to make an Experience certificate because I already decided to start my life from scratch in another country by my own after having the master degree.

But now and after 7 months and more than 200 days in this genocide. This war as they call it. Which left us empty handed, most of us lost their homes, jobs, dreams and people they loved. In my case i lost people i love, my job as a freelancer because their is no internet and no electricity, and my dream to go abroad becomes almost impossible, not only to complete my study but also to survive me and my family. To cross Rafah border we need 5000$ per person, which is a lot!

I think a lot about creating a GoFundMe link, but now I have no other choice, either i do this. Or I’ll live in a constant fear. Surrounded by bombs and death. Struggling to stay in a good mental health.

Help me and my sister to complete our education abroad. And help my family to evacuate from Gaza.
