I don’t like doing this, but I don’t see another option. Me and my siblings could go homeless by February 2026.

For the entirety of 2025, our parents have essentially ignored and neglected us even more than usual. Despite them being split up, they seem to both agree on wanting basically nothing to do with their children. There’s been basically no financial support starting from the end of 2024, along with the emotional neglect and physical abuse that we’ve endured for the entirety of our lives. Our grandmother has lived with us for nearly nine years; despite witnessing all of this numerous times, she also refuses to help us in any way. I’ve been looking for work since I was sixteen years old, but the family car broke down earlier this year, which completely halted my job search and forced my older sibling to quit theirs. Believe me, this is the LAST thing I wanted to turn to, but we have no other options.

Alongside being strapped for cash we’ve also been struggling to buy food. Our grandmother, seemingly adding onto our situation on purpose, has forced us to pay for a portion of the electric bill or else we’d be kicked out sooner. I am making this gofundme partially to cover both of these expenses. I’d like to make sure we can at least eat well and pay the bill, especially considering the fact that our grandmother often eats from our limited supply, despite the fact that she is physically, emotionally, and financially supported by other family members that have not shared the same grace with us. She flaunts this fact in front of us often. Her sister had given her a small refrigerator after learning that me and my siblings owned one to separate our food, and had made my younger sibling carry it into the house. Keep in mind that this is after she got on our case about the electric bill.

The more significant goal, however, is to gather enough money to purchase both a vehicle and driving lessons for me and my younger sibling. As thankful as I am for my current 14 generous commissioners, it’s simply not enough on its own. Any money donated will be put towards purchasing a used, but relatively reliable car around the ballpark of ~15k. My siblings and I will budget monthly for our meals in the meantime. This will enable the three of us to seek out employment, once again lightening our staggering financial load. To reiterate, I’ve been job hunting ever since I was sixteen and taking commissions since I was seventeen. I had even gotten several interviews, but I had never landed anything. It was disheartening, but I’ve been fighting to support us three for years now, and I don’t plan to give up any time soon.

This entire ordeal has been incredibly draining. It’s bad enough having your own resources stretched thin, but it’s been affecting my siblings as well. I was hoping I’d find a way to do this without the gofundme, but it’s just not feasible. I hope you can find it in your heart to support us.
