My name is Fayez Yahya Jawhar Al-Balaawi, and I am writing to you from Gaza. I am 29 years old, and life here has changed in ways we never imagined. The place we once called home is now filled with fear, uncertainty, and destruction. Every day has become a struggle just to stay safe and support the people we love. Over the past months, I have lost more than twenty members of my family due to the war. The grief is overwhelming, but I must keep going for those who still depend on me.
Our home and the small shop I owned were destroyed, leaving us without shelter and without any way to earn money.
My fiancée Mariam and I just dream of a simple life together: a safe home and a peaceful future. But right now our only wish is to protect and support the family members who remain and are facing extremely hard conditions.
Every day I try my best to care for the family, but the situation in Gaza is becoming more desperate. Because of the blockade preventing aid from entering, food and basic supplies are extremely scarce.
I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help, but when it comes to the survival of our loved ones, pride no longer matters.
Your donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference. It can help us buy food and basic necessities during this incredibly difficult time. Even if you cannot donate, sharing our story would mean so much to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support. ❤️

My name is Barbara Gallo, and I am an Italian woman. I am running this campaign because people in Palestine are unfortunately not permitted to create accounts or fundraisers for themselves. I receive the donations to my bank account and then transfer them directly to Fayez's account. I am in regular contact with Fayez and I will send to him your donation as soon as I receive it. Please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
