Hello all,

Help Me and my family survive the genocide and famine and Rebuild our future: Education, hope, and healing in Gaza!

I am Anika and I am raising money for my friend Mohammed Aloosh and his family who are in Jabalya City in the north of Gaza facing death and famine and hardships due to ongoing genocide since almost 2 years. You can get to know Mohammeds family story in the following text:

My name is Mohammed Aloosh, and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of our life. I am from Jabalia, in North Gaza, where my family and I have endured the devastating effects of war and genocide.

The tragedies I have faced are unimaginable. I lost my beloved peopel, many cousins, dozens of my relatives and friends, and the place I called home in this ongoing genocide. Our house was completely damaged by rockets, and over the past months, my family and I have been displaced more than 27 times as we searched for safety. I also lost my job, my freelance contracts, my workspace, and the small business I had worked so hard to build.

To make matters worse, life in Jabalya in the north Gaza has become a daily battle for survival. Food is scarce, and we have been facing famine-like conditions for over a year and half. Rebuilding even the basics feels impossible without help.

Despite these overwhelming hardships, I have been blessed with a glimmer of hope. I have received an offer to pursue a master’s degree in italy. This opportunity represents not only a path to rebuilding my life but also a way to bring hope and support to my community. However, I am facing significant financial challenges and need your help to make this dream possible and help my family survive the genocide and the famine.

I am seeking support to cover the following critical expenses:

• Food and Essentials: With food and basic necessities in, north Gaza increasingly scarce, your support will help my family survive during these incredibly difficult times with the ongoing military operations in Jabalya.
• Renting a shelter or a tent as we don’t have any place today.
• Fixing My Home: Our house was completely destroyed, and any support to repair it would give my family a safe and stable place to live.
• Master’s Program Fees: The tuition for my program is a significant hurdle, and your generosity can help me overcome it.
• Laptop: The workspace was destroyed, and I no longer have a laptop an essential tool for my work and studies. I currently use my sister laptop.

This education is my chance to rebuild not only my future but also the future of my community. I am determined to use the skills I gain to help empower youth, support Gaza’s economy, and bring hope to those who have endured unimaginable suffering.

Your support, no matter how small, will make a world of difference. Together, we can transform tragedy into resilience, and despair into hope.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and belief in the power of education to create lasting change.

With gratitude,
Mohammed Aloosh
