Hello,
I am Anika, I am raising money for my friend Mohammed Aloosh and his family who are in Jabalya City in the north of Gaza facing death and hardships due to ongoing war.
Help Me Rebuild My Future: Education, Hope, and Healing After Tragedy in Gaza
My name is Mohammed Aloosh, and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. I am from Jabalia, in North Gaza, where my family and I have endured the devastating effects of war and genocide.
The tragedies I have faced are unimaginable. I lost my beloved sister in 2009wars, many cousins, dozens of my relatives and friends, and the place I called home in ongoing genocide. Our house was severely damaged by rockets, and over the past months, my family and I have been displaced more than 16 times as we searched for safety. I also lost my job, my freelance contracts, my workspace, and the small business I had worked so hard to build.
To make matters worse, life in Jabalya in the north Gaza has become a daily battle for survival. Food is scarce, and we have been facing famine-like conditions for over a year. Rebuilding even the basics feels impossible without help.
Despite these overwhelming hardships, I have been blessed with a glimmer of hope. I have received an offer to pursue a master’s degree in Digital Marketing in the UK. This opportunity represents not only a path to rebuilding my life but also a way to bring hope and support to my community. However, I am facing significant financial challenges and need your help to make this dream possible.
I am seeking support to cover the following critical expenses:
• Food and Essentials: With food and basic necessities in, north Gaza increasingly scarce, your support will help my family survive during these incredibly difficult times with the ongoing military operations in Jabalya.
• Fixing My Home: Our house was severely damaged, and any support to repair it would give my family a safe and stable place to live.
• Master’s Program Fees: The tuition for my program is a significant hurdle, and your generosity can help me overcome it.
• Laptop: The workspace was destroyed, and I no longer have a laptop an essential tool for my work and studies. I currently use my sister laptop.
• Travel Expenses: Relocating to the UK and covering the associated costs is another challenge I cannot meet alone.
This education is my chance to rebuild not only my future but also the future of my community. I am determined to use the skills I gain to help empower youth, support Gaza’s economy, and bring hope to those who have endured unimaginable suffering.
Your support, no matter how small, will make a world of difference. Together, we can transform tragedy into resilience, and despair into hope.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and belief in the power of education to create lasting change.
With gratitude,
Mohammed Aloosh
