Help me and my family escape from Gaza!

Hello,

My name is Abdul Rahman Haroun from Gaza City. I am 19 years old. I completed my high school studies in the General Secondary Education in 2023/2024 and achieved a GPA of 76.3, with a very good grade.

I was accepted at Al Israa

University with a 50% scholarship. I had a broad dream of studying, and I was in the Medical Sciences Faculty, majoring in Clinical Psychology (Psychiatry). I aspire to become a psychiatrist to provide the care our people deserve. Doctors play a very important role during the wars in my city. However, my path was filled with challenges towards achieving my dreams, along with those ambitions and the dream of continuing my educational journey.

The occupation marginalized our city,destroyed our homes, communities, and universities since October 7th, forcing us to flee our homes in the Nuseirat Camp to seek refuge in the Zawaydeh camps. We faced many difficulties such as water, food, and even light, so we slept under

candlelight.

As the war continued, I found myself surrounded by despair, depression, and anxiety. Yet, many people died out of fear, and many suffered from seizures and psychological trauma. I couldn't volunteer like my fellow fifth-year medical students. The war was a significant part of shattering my dreams. Before the war, my days were filled with daily activities that helped organize the time for high school students and preserve our wasted time. However, the war demolished

and shattered our future.

Here I am, Abdul Rahman Haroun, after 166 days of fear and frustration, pleading for an opportunity for education that might slip away from my hands, wasting a year of our lives in just a few days. I'm waiting for someone to help me.
