I apologize for the delay in updating. After his condition worsened from pancreatic cancer, West has gone to his rest. We're heartbroken, but the amount of support and love we've received has given us the space to grieve without worrying about keeping our house.

We're able to move forward, I'm able to continue my applications for employment, and for that we are immensely grateful.

UPDATE

I'm so thankful for the generosity we've received just today. It's an enormous relief that we'll be able to make October's mortgage.

Unfortunately we have received bad news about our dog, West. There is a mass in his pancreas that we need to wait on an ultrasound tomorrow to identify. This means we'll need to pay for continued care for tonight and then for the ultrasound, and only then will we know what we're facing. Any additional donations will go toward those bills and whatever comes after. Thank you all so much for your kindness.

My family and I have been without reliable income since I lost my job in 2024. My allotted unemployment benefits have been exhausted until next year. I might have a job lined up, but I have to wait to find out.

We hoped securing income again would finally get us back on our feet, but earlier this month, our dog's health took a turn and we have been struggling to afford treatment. The money we had allotted for October's mortgage payment and other required bills has been depleted.

September is almost over, and we're out of time to wait and hope. Please help us make it one more month.
