Help me and my family get to Kuwait

In January my fiancé left to go work as a civilian contractor for the Army in Kuwait. As an Army veteran he was excited to be working with the Army again. Two weeks ago he went to the ER because he couldn’t stop shaking and he felt weak. They said he was anemic and had a virus. They sent him home with medicine. Hours later he was throwing up and had a fever so he went back to the ER. They admitted him and did an MRI and saw he had pneumonia. His heart rate was low so they did an EKG and X-Ray and saw that he had a bicuspid regurgitation and a cyst on one of his heart valves.

They transferred him to another hospital where his heart rate dropped and they had to put in a temporary pacemaker. From there they put a scope down his throat to see the cyst better and decided he needed open heart surgery.

The surgery lasted 16 hours. It was much worse than they expected. They had to patch the left ventricle, repair an aneurysm, replace the mitral and aortic valve. He had severe endocarditis with abscesses throughout the heart. He was placed on ECMO and a ventilator after surgery for 3 days.

He is off ECMO but his kidneys, liver and lungs have started to fail. He is on dialysis with the hope that it will help the liver and the ventilator is helping the lungs.

I have just found out he has sepsis. The doctor is asking me to hurry and come out there but we have 3 kids and one of them is blind with special needs because of that I’m a stay at home mom. The doctor is asking that I come out there soon. I want to bring the kids with me but it’s expensive. One of the last things he said before surgery was that he didn’t want to die alone. It’s all I think about him being alone and the doctors telling me he is very depressed and confused at the same time. All he wanted to do was support his family. He would do anything for us. Please help us get over there to be by his side. The money would help with tickets, travel expenses and the hotel stay. If you can’t donate please say a prayer.
