‏Help me and my family evacuate Gaza and pursue hope

‏Hi, my name is Sanea and I'm a 21 year old nursing student from Gaza. I had a beautiful life with my beautiful friends and family

, but now, our days are filled with bombing and starvation.

There's no more hope for us here in Gaza. Like so many others, we've lost people who are close to us, and we don't want to lose any more. Also, I want to complete my education and become a nurse. I finished my first diploma,

but was working on my bachelor's degree when the war broke out. When I do placements in the hospital, my patients love me, because I love and treat them like they are my family. I want to get back to my calling. (even if my grandmother thought I should be a doctor!). 

‏The way out is to cross the Gaza-Egypt border at Rafah, and to do that, our names need to be on the crossing list. Coordinators in Egypt who are authorized to add my family's names to the list at the border have been charging 10,000 per person and sometimes increasing the price! (and half for children under 16). They don't add names until there is proof that the money is ready. These fees are our biggest obstacle to escaping the violence.

‏So, I'm asking for help to get me and my family out. I'm raising money for my parents, Nahed and Emad, my sisters Majda (19), Somaea (16) and Habeba (10) and my brothers, Salah (18) and Abdalazez (14). We sincerely appreciate any donation, no matter how small. And even if you cannot donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your family and friends. Every extra minute in Gaza is a threat to staying alive, and the sooner I raise the money, the sooner we can get out. We don't know what fate will have in store for us, but we will be eternally grateful for your contribution and for helping us escape this situation and to start something new. 

‏How the funds will be used:

* Crossing Fees for adults and children over 16 (Nahed, Emad, me, Majda, Somaea, and Saleh): $10,000 x 6 = $60,000 canadian dollars
