I am currently unhoused, and my only means of support is my vehicle, which was recently impounded. Right now, I am staying in a motel using my unemployment benefits, but those funds are running out in just a few days. When that happens, I will be on the streets with my dog, facing homelessness without even the shelter of my car. I do have employment lined up, but I need to get my car out of impound to be able to start working and begin rebuilding my life.

The funds raised here will go directly toward retrieving my vehicle from impound. My car is not just transportation—it is my shelter, my way to get to work, and the only safe place for my dog and me. Without it, I have no way to get to my new job or keep us safe while I work to get back on my feet. This is an incredibly difficult and humbling moment for me, and I never thought I would need to ask for help.
