Help me and my children not to be a Homeless

Hello everyone, friends and acquaintances

First of all, I want to introduce myself as a divorced father with two children and I am opening this “gofundme” out of desperation and fear of staying on the streets and becoming homeless because I lost my job a few months ago, I could not to pay the rent for the apartment for the last 4 months, where I have lived with my 2 children for more than 11 years.

I looked for a job applying to many places since I lost my job at the end of May, but for 3 months I couldn't find it until finally at the end of August, I was able to get a job that could at least pay the monthly bills, but unfortunately, not all the rent arrears and the owner of the apartments already gave us the notice to vacate the apartment, and let's pay the delayed rent until the end of this month of September otherwise vacates until October 31, my rent monthly is $991 and with late fees, now the figure I owe as of today, September 19, is $4,406 and if we have to leave these apartments, I don't know where to go, with no money.

I tried several things to get the money and I couldn't also I tried a loan from my bank, but the only thing I got was that they closed my account because I didn't have funds, I went for help to, "Rent Assistant", some churches, social workers, help legal lawyers and none of them can help me in this difficult situation, the only possible help I have is to have an exit from my house to the street with dignity, a social service worker told me verbatim "unfortunately because of our rules we can't do anything else", also unfortunately, I don't have any close family to ask for help either, so I haven't been able to find anywhere to cover this debt that, with my new job I will only be able to save for the rent of one month, and from there I am already paying my bills regularly.

It is for this reason that I turn to your solidarity and your help so that my children and I do not become homeless, due to this difficult situation of not being able to pay the rent for the last 4 months. And I ask you for your help with whatever little amount you can donate to pay that debt that could leave us on the street, any small amount would help us a lot to be able to cover that amount and we would be eternally grateful to you and we could stay in our place, where my children grew up and they call home, a place where many years ago I chose because of their school, which was very close from elementary school and now that my last child is starting high school, they can go and return to school walking because it is less than a block away when I am working.

I thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my children, for your contribution so that we can remain in our home, and make this threat that in a month we could be on the street, disappear, more than everything for my children who are starting their lives, and we can overcome this difficult moment.
