Emergency Help Needed – Forced to Move After 14 Years

Hi friends,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a lot of urgency. After living in the same apartment for 14 years, I’ve recently been told I have to move out by the end of the month. On top of that, the new landlord has raised the rent to an amount I simply can’t afford — all while failing to maintain the building and allowing it to fall into disrepair. It’s no longer a livable or sustainable situation, and I have no choice but to find a new place immediately.

The problem is, I live paycheck to paycheck. While I’ve always managed to stay afloat, I wasn’t prepared for a sudden emergency move. Between the security deposit, first month’s rent, application fees, and the cost of hiring help or renting a truck, I’m overwhelmed. I’m trying to raise $3,500 to cover these essential moving costs and avoid being left without a home.

My two cats and I are facing the very real possibility of homelessness if I can’t get some help in time. I’ve been doing everything I can, but I can’t do this alone.
