Hi! previously I was fundraising for safe housing and security to get my mother and I away from our negligent landlord who has allowed for months bees and rats to live inside of our building. Currently, we are still living in the apt complex but my mother with the money that we have fundraised is working on her own personal housing, this leaves me in the awkward position of juggling school and fending for myself somewhat. 

For my mental health, my safety, and my own wellbeing, I am working on my individual housing. this has manifested in my 1987 Chevrolet G20 van! I bought it for extremely cheap and there's a lot of maintenance I need to get done (engine work and electrical to get it on the road at least) including other conversions like new batteries, solar panels, and a fridge so I can live on my own!

I've reduced the goal price from 12,000 to 6,200 according to what I'm assuming is the amount that it will take to get me SAFELY living on the road. I've got a part-time job that will expire in a few weeks when the restaurant closes so ill be saving myself as well. 

Due to the pandemic, my mother and I have not been able to pay our rent since December-January and the apartment complex has not shown any empathy or has allowed us to attempt to get financial help from nonprofit programs. We have been riding on the mandate as our means of safety and security which is incredibly unstable and incredibly scary.
 
 We have gone through attempted evictions during the pandemic we are dealing with extreme unsafety as they have come into our apartment now three times with several other people which is extremely unsafe regarding where I live in Arizona as we are one of the covid capitals. They have threatened police on us they have threatened our lives by attempting to physically remove us by calling the sheriff and risked our lives exposing us to other people and close proximity. I am sick and tired of constantly doing court paperwork and constantly having to be incredibly aware of my rights as a citizen and as a tenant. I've been doing this all on my own on top of things like online schooling and packing my whole house. 
 
Moving into this van and finding my way on my own financially will genuinely save my life.
