*Edit: I have made it to final year because my uncle managed to give the remaining amount at the very last minute to clear off second-year debts. I am in the final leg of my law degree, working hard to finally finish and have some stability in my life. I have a retail job to help me pay towards the degree cost, but this is not enough to cover the full tuition, so i implore you as any help is appreciated. *

I am currently a second-year law student at the University of Nottingham. Because of residential requirements I am classed as an international student despite being a citizen of the UK and cannot get any loans to cover the cost of my education. I was able to pay for first year with the help of my uncle but the high cost became too much for him to handle as he is a pensioner and thus does not have a lot of disposable income to spare. 

My father still works although he is in his 70s to support my mother and I as well as help my older brother out. As a result of his age employment opportunities are scarce and he has to take whatever he can get despite being under compensated for his work. Additionally he works in Ghana which would not provide enough to cover my fees charged in pounds. My father supports my brother and I using his pension money whiles using his small salary to cover his and my mother's living expenses in Ghana.

The only reason I have a place to stay is because of a generous friend who allows me to stay with her in the UK. 

I get charged £17,550 per year for tuition which I am hopping to raise so I can finish my course without the financial stress I have been having to endure looking for options. £35,000 would cover majority of the cost for the two years of the course I would have to pay for. 

I would be very grateful for any help I am given towards my cause. It would ease a lot of the stress and burden that has been affecting me during my course and allow me to fully focus on doing my best. I would also be able to engage more fully in university and be well on my way to start my career and give back to the people who have supported me, especially my parents.
