I’m facing the terrifying possibility of losing access to medications that keep me mentally stable and protect my heart. Due to ACA tax credit reversals, my insurance premiums suddenly jumped from $40 to over $2,400 per month, leaving me unable to afford coverage.
My name is Maryanne. Recently I lost my healthcare coverage due to these ACA tax credit reversals. Even after using discount programs like GoodRx, my medications now cost an average of $489 every month, which I simply cannot afford.
This sudden change has left me feeling overwhelmed and frightened for my health and future.
I rely on prescriptions to manage bipolar disorder type II, clinical depression, and heart health. Without these medications, my mental health could deteriorate and my physical health could be at serious risk, including stroke.
The thought of not being able to continue these medications is terrifying. It is humbling and difficult to ask for help, but I know I cannot face this situation alone.
Your support would help me continue the medications that keep me stable and safe while I work to rebuild and find a sustainable solution.
Every donation, no matter the size, or even simply sharing this page, would mean the world to me and bring enormous relief to my family.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you are able to offer.
