I am diabetic and insulin-dependent, and right now, my health is at a critical point. I am unable to work as I am facing the possibility of losing both of my feet. The insulin pump I need is not covered by my insurance, and the cost is simply too high for me to afford on my own. With no family able to help and my health declining rapidly, I am reaching out for support during this difficult time

Having access to the right insulin pump would allow my body to stabilize, and being able to afford fresh vegetables and a healthier diet would make a huge difference in my daily life and long-term health. Dancing is my how I get through my daily life. Ask anyone. I love to dance and it is a therapy that I'm best at keeping. My feet are essential to making me the happiest.

I served in the US Army Reserve for over 18 years, and although they can no longer accommodate my nutritional and medical needs, I am grateful for everything I learned during my service.

I was out there supporting our troops by keeping them fueled in water, land and air. I took a role of working the supply room and keeping our troops prepared with all the tools they needed, making sure our trucks were serviced. and that the troops had the appropriate training for the use of their weapons. I also worked as a nurse for nearly 10 years, and I would love to pay it forward. With the right help for my medications and nutrition, I might even be able to work again, even if it's just behind a desk for a few hours a day.
