i'm very happy to announce that i have officially started TMS, a life changing treatment that will help heal my OCD and consequently, my anxiety and depression.

i've been unemployed since 2022 due to my mental health reaching its true tipping point. it's been a massive struggle and has changed my life entirely: i've been on multiple medications, been hospitalized, been in therapy and am waiting to hear back from disability because i am just no longer able to function in almost all ways.

this is why TMS is so necessary for me. i'm incredibly grateful to have the chance to do this, to try and make myself better and able to do the things i want to do in life.

i'm also lucky that i was granted the TMS at a discounted rate because of my unemployment. still, even with it being lowered, i won't be able to pay for it on my own.

me and my girlfriend have been struggling since her job let her go when we moved to chicago two years ago. she's been unable to find better work and i've just been trying to become healthier. rent is a monthly struggle and i feel terrible that my mental health has had me unable to take care of myself for the most part, leaving her to provide for me in more ways than one.

also why TMS is so important. if i can be better to even work one day a week, it feels like all the difference. and with it being at a lower cost, i just feel like i can't miss this opportunity.

my goal is 4500 to:

-pay the $2175 for TMS

-$2100 to help with rent as usual because we're unable to pay it on our own

-gas and transportation to TMS as i will be attending it 5 days a week for the next month and a half

-cover fees from GFM

-remainder helps with psych visits i haven't paid yet and medication
