I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to ask for help pursuing the dream I’ve worked toward for years.

Acting and performing have always been more than just hobbies to me — they’ve been the one thing that has consistently given me confidence, purpose, and hope, even during difficult times. For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of training professionally at drama school and building a future doing what I truly love.

Recently, I received an offer from my top choice drama school — a moment that honestly felt unreal. After years of hard work, auditions, rejection, self-doubt, and persistence, someone finally believed in my potential enough to offer me a place.

But despite how incredible this opportunity is, I’m facing a huge obstacle: I am struggling to afford to attend.

Because of ongoing family and financial difficulties, funding drama school has become incredibly challenging. Unfortunately, this school does not offer student loans, which means I need to find another way to cover tuition and living costs if I want to accept my place.

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to ask for, but I don’t want to give up on this opportunity simply because of financial circumstances beyond my control.
