Earlier this year, I made the decision to leave an abusive home environment that also didn’t support my educational goals. Since leaving, I’ve been trying to get back on my feet so I can start college this coming fall. I have many things I want to accomplish and am trying my best to do everything I want to.

I’ve worked through financial aid options with the schools I’m considering. However, I would still need to take out private loans to cover the remaining costs. Unfortunately, I don’t have someone who can co-sign these loans, which makes it basically impossible for me to go forward without additional help.

This is where I'll be using the money:

College enrollment fees, Orientation Fees, Housing Deposit ~ $1200

College costs I would need private loans for ~ $8,000

Basic living expenses for the next few months until college begins: $1,000–$2,000

Any remaining funds will be used to get reliable transportation (such as an e-bike or a car) so I can get to grocery stores, work, and school more easily, dorm essentials, academic technology (as needed), clothing/gear for the weather where I'm living.
