Help Me Achieve My Pageant Dream

Hey guys! This year I received an invitation to attend the National American Miss Pageant. I am so excited!! I received one of these invitations when I was 6 and even went to the first interview. They chose me as one of the many State Finalists but because we couldn’t afford it, I was not able to move forward. I was so disappointed. Since then, participating in this pageant has become one of my dreams!!!

Now, 12yrs later I received another invitation! I am so excited! I attended the first interview and have become, again, a State Finalist!! I am looking to you, my friends, family, and community members, for sponsors! I am looking to find those who will believe in me as much as I believe in myself!! This pageant is not like your usual “look at me” pageant. Their goal is to grow confidence and teach real world skills, and based on the foundational principle of fostering positive self-image by enhancing the natural beauty within, this pageant centers around helping young ladies grow and expand their ideas about who they are and what they want to achieve.

This amazing program is carefully designed to grow confidence, teach life-long skills such as interviewing, public speaking and presenting oneself in front of an audience all while gaining the competitive edge to succeed in whatever fields they may choose in their future. While these events are glamorous, they are not at all a typical “beauty” pageant. In fact, all the scoring is based on personality, confidence and communication. These skills are what they want to recognize and encourage.

Every girl is capable of doing well and even being chosen as a state or national representative. They want every girl to realize that she truly can take hold of her dreams and make them real! This is the pagent I want to participate in! Help me make me dreams a reality!!!
