My name is Promise Otunu I’m an international student and I am a young boy from Nigeria with big dreams and an unyielding spirit. Growing up in the city of Warri delta state Nigeria,my family faced the daily struggles of poverty, but I found hope in the rhythm of basketball and the power of poetry. Every afternoon, I would shoot hoops on a worn out court, imagining myself playing in the United States, where I could pursue my passion for both basketball and writing poetry and drama, Through my poetry, I express the beauty and sorrow of my life, capturing the essence of my journey. Today, I am reaching out for your support to help me achieve my dream of attending college where I can continue to grow as an athlete and a storyteller.
