Becoming a mom changed my life in the most beautiful way possible. When I had my baby, I made the choice to put my dreams on hold so I could be obedient to gods plan. But in the process, I quietly set my own goals aside.

Cosmetology has always been more than just a career to me — it’s my passion, my creativity, and my independence. I’ve always dreamed of building something of my own, creating a brand, and working for myself. Working a 9–5 has never felt aligned with who I am. It leaves me feeling unfulfilled, knowing I’m capable of building a life that reflects my heart and my talent.

I’m proud to say that I already completed cosmetology school. I showed up, I did the work, and I pushed through. But before I can take my state board exam and officially become licensed, I must first pay off my remaining tuition balance. I currently owe $12,000, and I’ve already been able to put aside $6,000 on my own. I am halfway there — but without paying the remaining balance, I can’t move forward to test for my license.

This isn’t just about a career for me. It’s about building stability for my child. It’s about creating generational change. It’s about showing my baby that even if you have to pause your dreams for a season, you can trust god will make a way.

I’m asking for help to cross this final hurdle so I can finally test for my license and step fully into my calling.
