On September 13, 2025, my life changed. I lost baby at 17 weeks pregnant, and the heartbreak was compounded by a severe hemorrhage that left me both physically and emotionally broken. Since that day, I’ve been living with debilitating PTSD that impacts every part of my daily life. Without consistent support at home, navigating this pain has become even harder. What many people don’t see is what comes after a loss like this. I struggle to eat, to sleep, and some days, even basic tasks feel overwhelming. Showing up fully for my children can feel impossible, even though I want so desperately to be present for them. My nervous system feels stuck in survival mode, as if my body never got the message that the danger has passed. I have done everything within my power to heal. I’ve worked with multiple therapists and psychiatrists, followed treatment plans, and sought help wherever it was available. But traditional talk therapy and standard approaches haven’t been enough for the depth of trauma my body is holding. I am now working with a therapist who specializes in somatic therapy an evidence-based approach shown to be especially effective for traumatic births and medical trauma. This work focuses on helping the nervous system regulate again, allowing the body to feel safe, grounded, and functional. For the first time since my loss, I feel like I’m finally on the right path. The challenge is that this care is not covered by insurance and must be paid per session. The cost is more than I can manage alone, but this therapy is truly essential to my recovery. I’m not asking for help lightly. I’m asking because I want my life back. I want to eat, to function, to parent, and to live without constant fear and distress. I want to heal, not just survive. Any support, whether through a donation, sharing this page, or offering kind words, means more than I can express. Thank you for helping me take this step toward healing. Not only do I need help with therapy, but I haven’t has success in getting my iron levels up, so I’ve been approved for 5 iron infusion. I’ve only been able to receive one. I can provide most recent labs and receipts if necessary.
