Derek Pena is organizing this fundraiser to benefit DarkSky Oregon.

I was outside playing basketball and saw a beautiful sunset. I realized when it got darker, there were no stars. I looked up about it and heard about light pollution. I’m only 13, and I want to be able to live my life in beauty and be able to watch the stars without having to spend so much money on a plane ticket to see nice stars.
