We are thrilled to share that the McKinney Ice Hockey Club has achieved an incredible milestone by winning the Texas High School State Championship in the Varsity Gold Division! This victory has earned us a coveted spot at the USA Hockey National Championships in Irvine, California, March 26-30th. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our dedicated team to showcase their talent on a national stage.

Our Journey:

Throughout this season, our players have demonstrated unwavering commitment, resilience, and teamwork. They've faced early morning practices, rigorous training sessions, and the challenges that come with balancing academics and athletics. Their hard work culminated in a state championship victory, a testament to their passion and dedication.

Challenges Ahead:

However, our journey is not without obstacles. Two of our key players sustained injuries during our state championship game. Despite their setbacks, they've remained integral to our team's spirit and morale. We are determined to have them accompany us to Nationals, ensuring they experience this monumental event alongside their teammates.

Financial Needs:

Participating in the National Championships entails significant expenses, including flights, hotels, tournament fees, food, and rental cars. The total estimated cost could exceed $20,000. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 75-2721977), we rely heavily on community support to make this dream a reality for these dedicated young men.
