My name is McKenna Brown, and I am thrilled to share that I have been selected to participate in a Rotary Club exchange program for my junior year of high school. For the entire 2026-2027 school year, I will be living in South America, where I will have the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in Spanish culture and language. My current placement is in Colombia, but if the political climate is not safe, I may be placed in a different South American country. This journey is not just about learning a new language—it's about building lifelong connections, growing as a person, and representing the values of the Rotary Club: service above self, integrity, and advancing world understanding, goodwill, and peace.

Participating in this exchange program is a dream come true, but it comes with significant expenses. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering my program fees and airfare for the full nine months abroad. With your support, I will be able to focus on making the most of this experience—embracing new challenges, learning from a different culture, and giving back to my host community in the spirit of Rotary.
