Help Me Get to the US Open Wrestling Tournament in Las Vegas!

Hi everyone,

My name is McKenna Acampora, and I’m a collegiate wrestler chasing a dream — but I need a little help to make it happen.

Wrestling is more than just a sport to me. It’s my passion, my purpose, my life. I’ve dedicated countless hours, made countless sacrifices, and poured everything I have into this sport because I truly love it with all my heart. Wrestling has given me confidence, discipline, and strength I never thought I had — and now, it’s taking me somewhere I never thought I’d be this soon: The US Open in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This year has been especially meaningful for me. After taking two years off to redshirt, I came back this season more focused and driven than ever. It wasn’t easy, but I fought hard and earned:

5th place at the York College Invitational

5th place at the PA Intercollegiate State Championships

5th place at Region 2 Collegiate Regions, just one placement short of making it to the national tournament.

Ranked 5th overall in Region 2

This was my comeback year, and I gave it everything — and now, I have the opportunity to compete on the national stage at the US Open. But I can’t do it alone.

I’m trying to raise $850 to cover flight, hotel, and tournament registration fees. I know times are tough for many people, so I truly appreciate anything you can give — whether it's $5, $50, or just a share of this campaign. Every little bit helps more than you know.

This isn’t just about one tournament — it’s about proving to myself, and to other girls who love this sport, that it’s possible to chase your dreams, no matter the obstacles. I’m so thankful for every bit of support and encouragement along the way.
