Help My Sister Escape Abuse and Rebuild Her Life

Story:

I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister, McKanna. She is in the middle of leaving a very abusive marriage. For years, she has endured both physical and emotional abuse at the hands of someone who was supposed to love and protect her. She has been hurt, controlled, and broken down in ways that no one ever should have to experience.

Despite everything, my sister has shown incredible strength. She is a devoted mother, a loving aunt, and the kind of sister who never hesitates to help others. She’s the first to give, even when she has little herself. But right now, she needs help more than ever.

Leaving an abuser takes enormous courage, but it also comes with real financial costs — legal fees to protect her and her children, moving expenses to find safe housing, and the everyday basics needed to rebuild a life from the ground up. She should not have to choose between safety and financial survival.

I want her to be able to focus on healing, protecting her children, and creating a safe, stable home. That’s why I’m asking for your support. Every donation will go directly toward helping her escape this abusive situation and start fresh.
