Mazzie has been my soulmate and constant companion for the past ten years. She’s been by my side through every major moment in my life—divorce, heartbreak, new love, and even the loss of a parent. Her gentle presence and the way she literally holds my hand have helped me through the hardest days. Mazzie is truly my entire world, and the bond we share is unlike anything I’ve ever known.

Over the past year, Mazzie’s health has been declining, but this week things have become much more difficult. She’s lost function in her back legs, struggles to move, and is no longer able to enjoy the simple comforts she once loved. It’s heartbreaking to see her fall, have accidents, and lose the sense of peace she always had. After careful thought, I’ve decided to focus on hospice care and pain management to keep her comfortable, and when the time comes, to give her a peaceful and dignified goodbye at home, in the place she loves most, in my arms.

It’s difficult and embarrassing for me to ask for financial help, but I’ll never be too proud to beg when it comes to Mazzie. I’m asking for support to cover the costs of her hospice care, pain management, in-home euthanasia, and cremation. I want to make sure her final days are filled with love and comfort, and that she can pass peacefully in her own home. Any support will help me give Mazzie the gentle, loving farewell she deserves.
