Who I Am
My name is Maysa Al-Hajjar. I am a mother of three beautiful children — the youngest is 6 years old and the oldest is 15. I am not asking for much — just a chance to keep my children safe and give them a future.

Our Story
On October 13, 2023, we were forced to flee our home in northern Gaza due to relentless airstrikes. We escaped to the south, hoping for safety, but there was no refuge. We ended up living in schools, then in a small tent I built on the street. It could not protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer. The area was not safe — we lived through bombing, bullets, and artillery shrapnel.
One of my children was injured by shrapnel. But we had nowhere else to go and no money to escape the danger.

What We’ve Lost
I lost two of my brothers to this war. One of them was only 18 years old — he was killed by a drone strike that shot him directly in the heart. We’ve endured hunger, fear, cold, and unimaginable grief.
We returned to our home in the north, only to find it partially destroyed. I patched it as best I could, but it is still unsafe. We live in constant fear, and I can no longer pretend this is a life.

Why We Need Help
My children were among the top students in their school. They had dreams — of learning, of growing, of building a future. Now their school is gone. Their books are gone. Their hope is fading.
I am trying to get my children out of this destruction — to save their lives and secure their future. But the costs are more than I can bear alone.
We need funds for:
Emergency travel and relocation
Safe housing
Medical care for my injured child
Access to education and basic needs

How You Can Make a Difference
Your donation will directly help me:
Take my children to safety
Rebuild their lives
Give them a chance to learn again
Heal from the trauma they’ve endured
No amount is too small. Your kindness can change our lives.

Please, from one parent to another, help me save my children.
I am doing this out of love, hope, and desperation. Your support is our only chance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
