Support Mayra: Home and Car destroyed in Accident

Hi my name is Mayra and my home and only transportation have been destroyed in a blink of an eye on April 6th 2025. At around 4:30PM a young adult man decided to steal a vehicle and was on the run from the police. My home was on a 30 mile turn backroad and the driver was going over 80mph and lost control of the vehicle (some Chevrolet sports car). The sports car went through some front yards and ultimately crashed into my car which was unoccupied and parked on the side of the house I was residing in.

Thankfully, no one in or outside of the house was hurt. Not even the uninsured driver.

However, my car is totaled and the house has been deemed uninhabitable by state home inspectors and I am unable to return to the property until all damage is fixed (in about two months). I am currently residing with some friends in a nearby town and have been offered another property to temporarily stay at by my current landlord.

All proceeds will go to legal fees, travel, rent, etc. and hopes for another vehicle so I can go back to work.
