On Tuesday June 25, the Mayorga/Lee family was returning home from a trip and pulled up to their block to see fire trucks battling a large fire at their house. The fire at the back of their West Philly home was extensive and unfortunately spread to their neighbors house as well. While we are beyond grateful that no one was hurt in the fire, the property damage is significant.

This means that Jen, Edwin, Teo (15), and Juju (4) will need temporary housing for at least six months, as well as clothing, food, toys, and so many other essential items due to the fire, smoke, and water damage at their home. It will be a long rebuild and recovery period, and we are calling on their circle of family and friends to provide mutual aid through financial support if possible.
