Help Mayda Teller with Medical & living expenses

Hi, my name is Melanie Donovan. We met Matt and Mayda Teller back in 2009 when Jason, my husband, taught science for the high school at Midland Adventist Academy in Shawnee, KS. Matt was their math teacher at the time. We hit it off right away with the Tellers. They quickly became family. In knowing them, we recognized their love of the outdoors, generosity, selflessness, wittiness and love for God. We were saddened to hear of Mayda’s pancreatic cancer diagnosis in December 2021. She is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment near Castle Rock, CO where she and Matt live. Due to the debilitating pain and condition of her cancer, Mayda hasn’t been able to work since the beginning of December. This has left the Tellers with half of their family’s income. Not only are Mayda’s health needs expensive, but the Tellers are in great need of a larger apartment which they can’t afford due to their current circumstances. As you’re aware the housing market is challenging, especially in Colorado. Mayda’s parents, who live in Puerto Rico, have had the opportunity to live with the Tellers to help care for their daughter while Matt continues to work. The four adults currently live in a small, one-bedroom apartment. It’s been challenging and is not sustainable long term. We first and foremost ask for your prayers for healing of Mayda’s body and relief of her pain. Secondly, we ask for your financial support.
