This past week, Mayah has gone through the unimaginable pain of losing her mother. Losing a parent is already enough of an emotional heartbreak and burden, but it has been made even heavier due to the financial burden that comes with saying goodbye as well. Now in the middle of grieving, she’s responsible for arranging and funding not only the funeral but everything else.
