Mayah is 24 years old and has epilepsy. She was diagnosed 5 years ago. Since then, it has taken away much of the independence she once had, including her ability to drive and work.

Last year, Mayah underwent three brain surgeries in an effort to stop her seizures. During one of those surgeries, her hand was severely burned and required surgery and reconstruction. She has endured extensive testing, hospital stays, procedures, recovery, and rehabilitation.

But the seizures have continued.

Her faith is at the center of her life. She loves Bible study, values her relationship with Jesus deeply, and has continued to lean on her faith through some of the hardest moments of her life.

Another major brain surgery has been presented as her next medical option. After everything she has already endured, Mayah wants the opportunity to pursue a different path and support her health in a healthy and natural way, while continuing appropriate medical care.

With faith in God and hope for healing, she is committed to doing everything she can to improve her health and work toward a more independent future.

We are raising funds to give Mayah the resources to invest deeply in her health over the coming year. Our goal is to support a comprehensive, biophysics-informed approach focused on supporting her brain, nervous system, metabolism, and overall health.
