Help Maya's Future Come True

As some of you know its has been Maya Boxler's dream since she was a little girl to become a veterinarian. She began to fulfill that dream here in Oahu when she started at University of Hawaii in 2013 and graduated with a degree in Animal Science & Zoology in 2017. Maya worked at a vet clinic called The Pet Doctor where she continued her education and her love for working with animals for four years.
   
     Excitingly, Maya's dream doesn't stop there. She recently went to Africa to volunteer at a Big Cat Sanctuary and soon realized  that working with exotic animals is her passion. She applied to a couple different vet schools with hopes that she would get into her dream school, University of Sydney. Sadly, her first two applications got denied, but that didn't stop her from pursuing her dream career. She continued to apply to different schools and decided to apply to the University of Sydney one more time. Fast forward a couple of months, and many applications later, she FINALLY got the acceptance letter she has been hoping for. With extremely short notice, in order to hold her spot at the school she has to put a deposit down of $3,200 before December 1, 2018..

    Unfortunately, a little under a week ago, Maya got into a car accident while on her way to work. She is okay, but her car now needs a lot of work done to it. The money that she has been saving just in case she got into this college now has to be spent on her car. Maya has been financially on her own for a little over 6 years. She has asked for student loans and grant, but the student loans won't take place until she gets to Sydney, Australia on her first day of school. She has been working 50+ hours a week to support herself while saving for college. Maya is one the most determined people I know and I'm hoping that by starting this GoFundMe, it will be an amazing start to her new future.
