Maya is a bright, loving, and joyful 8-year-old. But for her, life has been far from easy. Born with Gordon Syndrome, Maya’s legs and arms didn’t develop as they should, and she was also born with a cleft palate.

Though Maya has undergone countless surgeries, the pain is still here. Every day, she struggles to do the simplest things - like running, jumping, and walking. As her parents, it’s heartbreaking to see our daughter fight for every step she takes, knowing the pain she feels.

Maya deserves to run through fields, to play with her friends without barriers, to experience life like every child should. But she needs your help to make that dream a reality. She has two more surgeries ahead of her, and while they give her hope, they come with a heavy price.

The road to recovery is long and difficult. Maya will need specialized therapy, walking aids, and modifications to our home to make daily life more manageable. These are all crucial steps to give her a chance to live a life free of limitations, to have a future where she can do what every child deserves to do - live without pain.

As parents, we would do anything to take away her struggles. But right now, we can’t do it alone. We need your support, your kindness, and your generosity to help us give Maya the chance she deserves.

Maya è una bambina di 8 anni solare, affettuosa e piena di vita, che illumina ogni stanza in cui entra. Ma per lei, la vita non è mai stata facile. È nata con la Sindrome di Gordon, che ha compromesso lo sviluppo delle sue gambe e delle sue braccia, e con la palatoschisi.
