Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that is as beautiful as it is demanding. My daughter, Maya Bijnens, has been dedicated to it for over 11 years, with impressive rigor. She trains 8 hours a day, relentlessly, to reach the world elite.

In 2023, she achieved a historic feat: 14th place at the Junior World Championships, a ranking never before achieved by a Belgian gymnast at this level!

Today, Maya has been selected for the Senior World Championships, which will take place in August in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is an exceptional opportunity... but one that we may have to turn down due to a lack of financial resources.

The Belgian federation does not cover any expenses.

As a single mother of two children, I have to cover all the costs myself: transportation, accommodation, equipment, registration... It's a budget I can't afford without help.
