Hello everyone, I am starting this fundraiser to help my sister, Maya. Maya is a loving mother and friend and she has faced many obstacles. Diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, compromised immune system, gallbladder infection, and memory loss, she has battled many challenges. Recently her appendix got infected so she had to have it removed. She is on TPN daily for nutrition and this is her main source of nutrients. Per bag it costs around $1100 before insurance, not including supplies needed. , Still waiting on disability, she decided to go back to school to not give up on life. She is trying to keep her head up every day.All proceeds goes towards medical cost and supplies.

Financially, things have been a burden from medical bills, protein treatments (having to drink 2-4 protein drinks daily to maintain weight), and also many other medications. Maya does not ask for much, but we are asking for you to help her with what you can. Every little bit counts and helps her take some of the burden off her plate. As she is focusing on schooling, she still deals with hospitalization, paying for a caregiver, and missing out on medications due to affordability or availability through insurance, and it’s too expensive to pay out of pocket.
