Help Maya (Frank & Rosa) To Rebuild After Fire

On 10/11/23 at about 10:45 pm, Prescott Fire Department responded to a call for smoke coming from Maya Mexican Restaurant, 514 S. Montezuma. When fire units arrived, they found an active fire inside the restaurant which was quickly extinguished with an aggressive fire attack. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

People in Prescott have been loving this restaurant for decades. Frank & Rosa and their entire family are beloved members of our community. We watched their children grow up. The electrical fire inside the restaurant and the damage caused by extinguishing the fire means the restaurant is shut down until further notice. This is total loss of livelihood for them.

For decades, Frank & Rosa have nurtured and nourished us with their kindness, hospitality, smiles, and outrageously delicious, affordably-priced Mexican food. It's time for us to give back.
