Help Maya and Saumya Rebuild After Fire

At SRPMIC, whether living in the community or working for the community, we’ve all become family in someway.

Cathy Mangels, a Behavior Counselor for SRPMIC Education has helped our students many times. Cathy has actually been valuable to our own family with issues of our special needs grandson. I mention this because Cathy has a family member in need of help. Cathy’s daughter Maya Mangels is 28 yrs old and is a newlywed married to her husband Saumya.

Maya and Saumya bought their first house together in PALISADES, CA. They lived in their new home for approximately 3 months when their lives turned to tragedy. Their new house burned completely down when the deadly fires burned and devastated homes and lives throughout CA. Maya and Saumya barely escaped with their lives and were only able to grab what they could.

Its a terrible thought if one of our families or even ourselves, had to experience something devastating like this. We are able to take a breath of gratitude but see the need of someone else.

We all have the opportunity to significantly help with funds. Together we can make a difference,
together we can make an impact.

Funds will help the couple stabilize with basic needs and to rebuild their lives.

Thank you for your consideration. Blessings right back at you!
