On Wednesday, November 27th, Maya was found unresponsive in her apartment with her young child. By the time she arrived at the hospital, her blood sugar was over 1,000 and she had coded and been resuscitated. That night, she was airlifted to Memphis that where her condition as continued to deteriorate. She has bleeding in her brain, kidney failure, a mass in her liver, and has suffered a spinal stroke.
