Hello, my name is Maya, and I’m a mother of three wonderful children who are my entire world. I’m reaching out with urgency and humility — my children and I are at risk of losing our home, with a court date set for November 21st if I can’t catch up on rent in time.

The past few months have been incredibly hard. I’ve been dealing with serious medical issues that have limited my ability to work consistently, but I’ve never stopped trying. I’ve been working overnight shifts through pain and discomfort, and even spending my few days off doing contract delivery work, anything I can to build the money we need to stay afloat.

I’m also actively searching for stable employment that better supports my medical needs, allows for healthier hours with my children, and fits around my school schedule, so I can build a better future for us.
