Help Maxx the Stray Cat Get Medical Care
Donation protected
Maxx is a stray cat I found outside a TJ Maxx parking lot late at night. He was covered in wounds and still somehow absolutely attention starved. Thinking he was a lost pet I took him to an emergency vet. Thankfully, the dried blood was worse than it looked and he just had an old battle wounds. I knew what I was doing would be a small financial burden, but I couldn’t leave him behind and no shelter or non-emergency vet was open, so I brought him home to make sure he’d get the care he deserves. Shelters are overrun at the moment, and I am not dropping him off at a kill shelter.
Since then, I’ve been working to get Maxx healthy and ready for a new chapter in his life. Turns out he’s from a colony of strays and is beyond ready for that domesticated life. He is approximately 1.5 years old, an intact male, and needs all vaccines (and litter box training).
Maxx needs additional full veterinary checkups, deworming, flea infestation care, professional grooming for mats and urine stains (I attempted and he wasn’t violent but it something I can do again myself) antibiotic treatments for his wounds, vaccines, and to be neutered. These treatments are essential for his recovery and to give him the best chance at a happy, healthy future. I’m committed to making sure Maxx gets everything he needs, and I’m actively searching for a loving home for him through my network of friends and family to get him placed in a loving home in the next few weeks. I have several people who are interested, but him not being litter box trained is a big deterrent at the moment.
Every contribution will go directly toward Maxx’s medical care and help him on his journey from street cat to beloved companion. Your support will make a real difference in his life and help him find the safe, caring home he deserves.
