Our dog Max somehow escaped our yard in the early morning of Thursday November 19th and was hit by a car down the street from our house. The car that hit him just took off and left him there. We took him to the vet where we were told he’d need surgery for his front arm and his back leg needed to be stitched up from a huge gash. His front arm is broken in 4 places. Luckily he didn’t die and doesn’t have any internal injuries. He has to stay overnight at the vet until after the surgery and he recovers enough to come home. Max is a super sweet, playful and loving dog and a member of our family. We’re trying our best to deal with this unexpected cost. If anyone could help towards the cost of his surgery we’d be super grateful!
