Help Maxine Heal From Heart Surgery

Hi, Everyone!

My name is Holly, and I've created this GoFundMe for Maxine Craig to help cover her living expenses as she's healing from open heart surgery.

As some may know, Max's health challenges began in April 2021. She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and she also needed to have a valve replacement surgery. She was completely blown away with this news because she's always been healthy and active.

The doctors say she could have had this condition for years and must have just been pushing through and living with it. That all stopped last April, resulting in open heart surgery on January 3, 2022.

Maxine's recovery has been slow. She and her doctors are trying to regulate her heart beat, resulting in continued procedures to fix it.

She's trying to remain positive and faithful, but it's been quite a struggle to hold it all together.

Getting approved for disability has proved to be extremely difficult, and once she is finally approved, she'll still only be receiving 60% of her usual salary. This is why I've created this fundraiser -- to help with Maxine's living expenses that continue to accumulate as she's recovering.
