Help is needed for a beloved Family in our community.

Maximillian Gabriel, son of Linda Gabriel and nephew of Judy and Peter Dougan has suffered a fractured skull with an associated traumatic brain injury along with multiple other fractures from a horrific motor accident. He has been in Westchester Medical Hospital since May30th.

Max is a 16 year old Sophomore at Kingston High and he and his family need our help.

These are difficult times for the family and this is how you can help.

There are mounting costs for medical treatments not covered by insurance, along with funds needed to sustain the family while they commute back and forth from Max’s next phase of care at the Helen Hayes Rehab Hospital in Rockland county N.Y.

Max is an active snowboarder, basketball player and drummer that is working hard to get back to his life and family.

Linda, his mother, widowed 14 years ago is a single mother who has raised her three children in the Woodstock community. Maximillian is her youngest. She is alone working to balance the needs of her family while at Max’s bedside daily.

It would take an entire CHAPTER to share what the Gabriel and Dougan extended family has given and meant to our community. Max’s Uncle Peter, the much loved Woodstock Day School music teacher and his Aunt Judy, Dr. Judy as she is known have served the community for over 20 years. Both are helping Linda manage during this difficult time.

This is a family that needs our help NOW!

It is uncertain how long Linda will be unable to work and the loss of both salary and supplemental income is just unthinkable. We cannot allow this to happen to one of our own.
