Help Maxedon beat cancer

Dear friends, family, and brothers,

One of our own is fighting the good fight on a completely different front. In April of 2021, Nick was diagnosed with abdominal cancer.  This is something that took him and his family by surprise, as he had very minimal symptoms leading up to his diagnosis. The prognosis for his survival and recovery, is hopeful. However, he does require immediate surgery, followed by rounds of chemotherapy.

For those of you who know Nick, and for those who may not, Nick is a man of high character, integrity, and who walks his Christian faith out everyday to the best of his ability. He has sacrificed much, as many of us did in our time within the Marine Corps and in Alpha Company. He has been overseas in Iraq, and now is in veteran status. 
Nick is one of the most compassionate human beings I know, and would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it. He doesn't complain, and doesn’t ask for much.

I don’t have the words to say the right things in this moment, but let’s spread the word and do what’s right in our hearts and get him through this tough time. Nick is our brother, friend, and family member.

Let’s look after our own. Because we know cancer ain’t cheap, and if the roles were flipped, he would do the same for us. He doesn’t know about this fund, and prefers to keep his battle private. 

Hospital bills suck. Let’s lift him up not only in prayer, but with our efforts financially to give him some stress relief.
