Hello,

My name is Karina and I have had my beautiful tabby Max for the last 16 (going on 17) years since he was just a tiny baby.

For anyone who has ever had that one special pet in their life, you can understand when I say Max is MY special little buddy and my literal world. He has a brother, a pupper named Huckleberry, who's 15 (going on 16) and also equally important to me.

Both Max and Huckleberry are special needs in the sense that they both require medication and have had to undergo LOTS of vet visits in the past. Max used to be diabetic (but has been in remission for the last 3 years) but unfortunately deals with hyperthyroidism as a result of the diabetic remission. He also deals with asthma and pancreatitis. His brother Huckleberry has Congestive Heart Failure and has to be on 7 different medications just to keep him going.

Due to this, I have racked up a little over $7000 worth of debt on a care credit card to ensure that their medical needs are being met. I pay more than the minimum every month, but the interest rates are eating me alive. I've almost maxed out my credit limit and am about to face another big vet bill as Max now seems to have some dental issues. I've never reached out to ask for donations, but I'm starting to run out of options. I live paycheck to paycheck and am just trying to give my fur kids a good, long life. If you could find it in your heart to spare anything, even a dollar, I know I can find a way to get him the help he needs.
